Protease
Also known as peptidase, protease enzyme is a multifunctional enzyme with wide array of use in many industries and home chores also. It is a part of the hydrolase enzyme family which breaks down the proteins. Protease breaks the peptide bond present in the proteins and converts the protein into smaller polypeptide or amino acids making other enzymes or chemicals to degrade them very easily.
Proteases are a very diverse type of enzyme found in nearly all living organisms, their form can be found in plants, animals, bacteria, viruses, etc. Based on their catalytic activity, they are classified in 7 types: serine protease, cysteine protease, threonine protease, aspartic protease, glutamic protease, metalloproteases, and asparagine peptide lyases.
Proteases are the key ingredients of all kinds of detergent available in the market. Apart from that, proteases are widely used in pharmaceutical, waste treatment, food & beverage, leather & wool industry, etc. Some of the industrial usage of amylases are:

Papain is a type of protease enzyme which breaks the peptide bonds of large proteins and converts them into smaller chains of peptides or amino acids. Papain is used mainly in the food industry as a tenderizer for the meat. It is also used in cosmetics and the toothpaste industry.
Papain is a cysteine protease isolated from papaya latex, papain enzyme extracted from green papaya fruits show highest activity. Papain enzyme can catalyze the breakdown of proteins, short chains of amino acids, amino acid esters, and amide linkages.
Mucolase
Mucolase enzyme is a proteolytic enzyme that has mucolytic (thinning of mucus) functions. Mucolase enzyme hydrolyses the excess or unwanted mucus in the nasal cavity.
Mucolase is mainly used in the manufacturing of the cough syrups. Apart from this, mucolase enzyme also help in reducing the effects of histamine and complements our immune system.

ProbChick
A multi strain probiotic feed supplement for poultry
India is the third largest egg producer(2017) and fifth largest broiler meat producer in the world. Poultry products are one of the most important foods which are consumed in very large quantities everyday, worldwide. It’s increasing at the rate of minimum 10% yearly.
But India is lacking in terms of production as large part of poultry farming is done in rural India where awareness is very less about the new developments. Probiotic supplements are one of the important developments in the field of farming, whether it is aqua, livestock, poultry or other.
Mainly, poultry farming is done in large scale closed facilities with very stressful conditions leading to growth of pathogens, death of poultry and even outbreak of diseases (bird flu) and to prevent this and have maximum benefits, people use antibiotics and antimicrobial agents which are harmful for humans as well as environment as they gradually develops antibiotic resistance.
ProbChick probiotic feed supplement consists of numerous strains of good bacteria which are beneficial for not only poultry but also for humans. The one of the most important benefits of using probiotic mixed feed is that they prevent the growth of pathogenic bacteria and develop immunity from within the body of poultry birds which means there is no requirement of using the antibiotic and antimicrobial agents.
Contents: ProbChick contains 10 billion CFU/gram of various strains of different beneficial bacteria like Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus sporogenes, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Streptococcus thermophilus, Bacillus subtilis, Bifidobacterium bifidum, and yeast called Saccharomyces cerevisiae along with digestive enzymes and other active ingredients.
Benefits of using ProbChick:
-
Significant weight gain in broiler chicks.
-
Maintains good gut flora leading to high rate of feed utilization.
-
Inhibits the growth of pathogenic microorganisms in the gut.
-
High immune response
-
High meat quality
-
Reduces the mortality rate in the chicks
